My deviantART Story

I can't believe it's been seven years on DA man ='D When I first joined I really had no idea what I was getting myself into. At the time I was with 1skylight1 in middle school and she told me about DA, so I joined shortly afterward. I had a strong love for canines (still do :I), so the majority of my work was based on them (and done on MS paint LOL). So many people inspired me back then, just seeing how well they all drew seriously fueled my need to improve my own work so I can bring my own characters to life. Such inspirations were KayFedewa, Gwanoli, Vanimute, CanisAlbus, and Kaylink.

MS paint was my best friend and later on I managed to get my hands on photoshop, but after my computer crashed I lost it ='D So I went and got Gimp. It was a pretty useful program, so I was pretty happy with it. I was still learning how to do things on my own, so learning these programs was tedious but worth it. (Thank you to all who make tutorials, I love you ;-

BUT HOLY CRUD. My uncle helped get Photoshop again and I was literally beyond eager to start working with that again, and I got an Intuos 4 later on. (Because screw using the laptop pad for drawing holysinkingships) I was also hitting that phase where I thought I wasn't really improving, so drawing on the computer became more like work than fun, but I didn't quit. To help me, I tried out the Improvement meme: 

This blew my mind. LOL No really, I was staring at this thing for the longest time when I did it, so my motivation was picked up to just keep drawing. 
I believe it was around this time that I went on FH and met some of my long time buddies, like Sete-DiSangue, SpartaDB, and KodiSoul. I also met Gwanoli there after having an encounter with her friends, Jay and Ry in a huge ass map LOL. So I was fangirling like mad :I

However, in the most recent years is when things were going amazingly for me. I made some more friends, some of my idols were starting to watch me, and I was improving. I also had some crazy support from watchers, like @jalenrobinson11 and @blowber, who have commented so many amazing words. I also met Vassalex, and Caesol, and combined with my other FLUFFS these guys have made coming to DA and posting so worthwhile, and I really love talking to each of them, getting to know their characters, and having fun little rps XD Words cannot describe how truly grateful I am to have been able to meet all of them, because without them, I don't think I would be improving at the rate that I am now nor having as much fun. I really do appreciate having you guys at my side, and I have DA to thank for helping me meet and keep in touch with such amazing people, finding incredible artists, providing a way to show my artwork easily, and letting me see everyone else's.
